It is a great honor to stand here as a student representative of the 2025 SJTU International Summer School on Physics. Over the past two weeks, we have shared not only lectures and discussions, but also ideas, dreams, and unforgettable memories.
From the fundamental particles to the vast cosmos, from quantum field theory to the mysteries of dark matter and exoplanets, this summer school has truly lived up to its theme: “The Largest and The Smallest.” Every course, every seminar, and every conversation has been an inspiration. We’ve had the privilege to learn from brilliant physicists such as Professor Anthony Zee, Professor Lai Dong, and many others, whose insights and passion have opened our minds to new frontiers.
Beyond the lectures, we also enjoyed a variety of engaging activities—touring the city of Shanghai, exploring the beautiful SJTU campus, and visiting the spectacular Shanghai Astronomy Museum. These moments made science come alive beyond the classroom and deepened our appreciation for both the subject itself and the vibrant community behind it.
Particularly, what impressed me the most about this summer school was the connection between students from different universities and countries. We engaged in academic discussions, explored the city of Shanghai together, and experienced the beauty of cultural exchange. It was a truly fresh and eye-opening experience. I walk away with not just knowledge, but with wonderful friendships . These friendships, I believe, will stay with us long after the summer school becomes a memory.
To the organizing team from Zhiyuan College and the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute: thank you for your tireless efforts. And to every student here—thank you for your enthusiasm, your curiosity, and your warmth. You made this experience truly special for all of us.
In closing, I believe that although the universe is vast, our shared curiosity and passion bring us even closer. May the connections and inspiration we’ve found here continue to guide our journeys in physics—and in life.
Thank you all.
